Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant-Xray with excellent skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to join our patient care team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to ensure the best care of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking for a long-term career in a rewarding and collaborative environment.To be successful in this position, you must possess a minimum of a high school diploma and a valid Medical Assistant Certification, as well as prior experience working in a medical setting. You must also be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong computer literacy is also essential for this role, as you will be expected to use electronic medical records and other computer systems.If you have a passion for providing excellent patient care and are looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced medical setting, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care and customer service in a medical setting.
  2. Perform medical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications.
  3. Take and record patient medical histories.
  4. Assists physicians and nurses in examination and treatment of patients.
  5. Collect and process laboratory specimens according to established guidelines.
  6. Administer and process X-ray films in accordance with established procedures.
  7. Maintain patient records in an accurate and timely manner.
  8. Ensure all medical equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
  9. Schedule patient appointments and follow up visits.
  10. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
