- Provide exceptional patient care in accordance with CHI St. Alexius Health's standards and values.
- Participate in all aspects of the pharmacy residency program, including rotations, projects, and educational activities.
- Work closely with a team of experienced pharmacists to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
- Enhance clinical knowledge and develop valuable skills through active participation in patient care, medication management, and medication therapy management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Actively engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with new medications, treatment guidelines, and emerging healthcare technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by fostering teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for pharmacy students and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research projects and presentations to contribute to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy director or preceptor.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy Program.
Completion Of An Accredited Postgraduate Year One (Pgy1) Pharmacy Residency Program.
Eligibility For Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Of North Dakota.
Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In The Acute Care Setting.
