Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Nurse Assistant Telemetry at CHI St. Alexius Health. As a Nurse Assistant Telemetry, you will provide high-quality patient care and promote an atmosphere of safety and comfort for our patients and families. You will collaborate with the nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments.To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Nurse Assistant Telemetry in a hospital setting, knowledge of medical terminology, and a current state nursing license. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
  2. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with treatments.
  3. Collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records and document medical histories.
  5. Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  6. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and procedures.
  8. Assist with preparing patients for transfer to other departments or facilities.
  9. Maintain a current state nursing license and knowledge of medical terminology.
  10. Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively in a team environment.
