
Certified Nursing Assistant
We are excited to welcome a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to our Children's Hospital Colorado family! Our CNA team plays an integral role in providing excellent patient care to all of our patients and families. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and a willingness to go above and beyond for those in need. We are looking for a CNA with a minimum of one year of experience. The successful candidate must have a valid certification as a CNA from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and must have the drive to learn and grow within the role. As a CNA, you will be expected to provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and provide emotional support to patients and families. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients. Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising nurse.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent infection and injury.
- Follow all state regulations and laws pertaining to the practice of a CNA.
