- Provide expert nutritional care to young patients, including developing personalized meal plans and monitoring their progress.
- Collaborate with medical team and families to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and make appropriate recommendations based on patient's medical history, current conditions, and dietary needs.
- Educate patients and families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and research in the field of dietetics, and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical team to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care plans.
- Serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals on nutrition-related matters.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations related to patient care and confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the healthcare leadership team.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nutrition And/Or Clinical Dietetics.
Advanced Certification In Pediatric Nutrition From The Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics Or Other Recognized Organization.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Research And Evidence-Based Practices In Pediatric Nutrition And Dietetics.
