Clinical Dietitian Senior

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Dietitian Senior to join our team. The successful candidate will bring a strong commitment to providing excellent nutritional care to our pediatric patients. This role requires a combination of clinical and administrative skills to ensure that all dietary needs are met in a safe and effective manner.To be successful, the candidate must have at least 3 years of clinical dietetics experience and be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The ideal candidate should have knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, food service operations, and be comfortable presenting nutrition education materials. The Clinical Dietitian Senior should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively collaborate with other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent nutritional care to pediatric patients, following established guidelines and protocols.
2. Administer medical nutrition therapy to patients, including assessment of nutritional needs, development of nutrition care plans, and monitoring of patient progress.
3. Ensure that all dietary needs are met in a safe and effective manner.
4. Assist in the supervision and training of other staff members in dietary services.
5. Monitor and evaluate food service operations to ensure quality standards are met.
6. Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and their families to ensure the highest level of care.
7. Educate patients and families on nutritional concepts and meal planning.
8. Maintain patient records and other documentation related to dietary services.
9. Develop and implement nutrition education materials.
10. Monitor and order dietary products and supplies as needed.
