We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creative talents to help our young patients heal and thrive. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children and has a strong background in creative arts therapy.   1. Develop and implement creative arts therapy programs for pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of creative modalities, such as art, music, drama, and dance.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.
  4. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the most effective therapy approaches for each patient.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
  6. Communicate regularly with patients' families to provide updates on treatment and progress.
  7. Create a safe and supportive environment for patients to express themselves and engage in therapeutic activities.
  8. Continuously evaluate and modify therapy techniques to meet the changing needs of patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in creative arts therapy.
  10. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide insights and recommendations for patient care.
  11. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Collaborate with community organizations to provide resources and support for patients and their families.
  13. Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, and staff.
  15. Serve as an advocate for the use of creative arts therapy in pediatric healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Or Drama Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Children And Adolescents In A Clinical Setting.

  • Certification Or Licensure As A Creative Arts Therapist (I.e. Atr-Bc, Mt-Bc, R-Dmt, Or Rdt).

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Child Development, Trauma-Informed Care, And Family Systems.

  • Proficiency In Using Creative Arts Modalities To Address A Variety Of Mental Health Concerns, Including Anxiety, Depression, And Behavioral Disorders.
