- Assist the dietitian team in providing nutrition services to pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with dietitians to develop individualized meal plans for patients based on their medical conditions and dietary restrictions.
- Monitor patient's food intake and document any changes or concerns.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of pediatric nutrition.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures related to food safety and sanitation.
- Assist in ordering, organizing, and maintaining food and nutrition supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
- Attend continuing education and training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in the field of nutrition.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Related Field
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Clinical Setting, Preferably Working With Children
Strong Understanding Of Nutrition Principles And Ability To Create Meal Plans For Children With Special Dietary Needs
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team Of Healthcare Professionals
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Ability To Document Patient Information Accurately And Efficiently.
