
ECMO Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated ECMO Specialist to join our team.The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced healthcare professional with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to provide outstanding care to our patients. The ECMO Specialist will be responsible for the safe and successful operation of the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) system and its associated technologies, as well as providing compassionate care to our patients and families.To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a level III neonatal intensive care unit. The candidate must also possess a valid Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist license and be certified in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). In addition, the ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.If you are a compassionate and experienced healthcare professional with the qualifications we are looking for, we welcome you to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families.
- Safely and successfully operate the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) system and its associated technologies.
- Identify and troubleshoot any problems with the ECMO system.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust ECMO settings as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of ECMO technologies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of ECMO treatments.
- Provide support and education to family members and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research initiatives as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy
At Least Years Of Experience In Pediatric Ecmo
Certification In Elso Basic And Advanced Ecmo
Pals And/Or Nrp Certification
Acls Certification
Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Credential
