Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join our team as Epic HIM App Analyst at Children's Hospital Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Epic HIM application support services, assisting with training, and performing analysis and design activities. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of Epic HIM applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping people. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, or related field • At least 5 years of experience in HIT and/or Epic HIM applications • Epic HIM certification (or ability to obtain) • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and Epic• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Epic HIM application support services by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  2. Assist with training on Epic HIM applications, including developing and delivering educational materials.
  3. Design and analyze Epic HIM applications to ensure optimal functionality.
  4. Maintain and update documentation related to Epic HIM applications.
  5. Comply with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws and standards.
  6. Monitor Epic HIM application performance and make adjustments as needed.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  8. Monitor Epic HIM application updates and apply them as needed.
  9. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies related to Epic HIM applications.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and other external partners.
