
Human Factors Intern
Children's Hospital Colorado is looking for an enthusiastic Human Factors Intern to join our Human Factors team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare setting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of human factors principles and an interest in making healthcare operations more efficient and effective. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including usability testing, human-computer interaction, and design and implementation of process improvements. You will be working in a collaborative team environment and have the opportunity to learn from and work with industry experts. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, or a related field• Understanding of user experience principles and a passion for improving user experience• Knowledge of healthcare operations and process improvement principles• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment• Ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders• Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsIf you are passionate about making a positive impact on healthcare operations and have the qualifications to back it up, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Conduct usability testing and research to identify user experience issues • Design and implement process improvements to improve healthcare operations • Work with industry experts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget • Create presentations to explain findings and solutions to stakeholders • Document and track progress on projects • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations • Research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices • Develop user experience guidelines and standards • Assist with project planning and execution
