
Operational Pharmacist
At Children's Hospital Colorado, we are seeking an experienced, passionate Operational Pharmacist to join our dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. The ideal candidate must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have a minimum of 3 years of hospital/health system experience, including experience in managing and leading people. An ideal candidate will also have experience in operationalizing clinical pharmacy services, managing drug distribution systems, and a working knowledge of regulatory requirements. Above all, the right individual should have a commitment to the mission of Children's Hospital Colorado and be passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies for clinical pharmacy services and drug distribution systems.
- Lead and manage staff to ensure operational goals are met.
- Monitor and evaluate regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other external partners.
- Monitor and analyze drug utilization trends and provide appropriate interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely medication ordering, storage, and distribution.
- Provide clinical pharmacology advice and expertise on drug therapy related issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance activities.
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills

Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy
Valid Colorado Pharmacist License
Experience In A Pediatric Or Hospital Pharmacy Setting
Knowledge Of Medication Storage And Administration
