Surgical Technician - OB

We are looking for an experienced and caring Surgical Technician - OB at Children’s Hospital Colorado. If you are dedicated to playing a key role in the health and safety of our patients, we would love for you to apply!Required qualifications include: • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program• At least two years of experience in OB/GYN surgical assisting• A strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills• The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment• Current certification and registration as a surgical technologist in the state of Colorado

Responsibilities: • Prepare operating rooms for scheduled procedures, including setting up equipment and sterile instruments • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, including cleaning and dressing wounds • Maintain a clean and safe operating environment • Prepare and maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns • Comply with all safety and infection control policies • Participate in in-services and continuing education sessions to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field
