
Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse
Children's Hospital Colorado is looking for a Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Nurse who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced WOC Nurse who is passionate about providing excellent care to pediatric patients with complex wound, ostomy, and continence needs. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience as a WOC Nurse, and a current WOC certification. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the health care team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care to pediatric patients with complex wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
- Maintain current WOC certification.
- Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with other members of the health care team.
- Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care in an accurate and timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field of WOC nursing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
