
Acute Care Technician
The Acute Care Technician at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is a critical role providing vital services for our patients and families. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate and committed to providing quality care for our patients and families. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong clinical background and the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment. This individual must possess excellent patient care skills, have a comprehensive understanding of acute care pediatric nursing concepts, and be able to work independently. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience working in a pediatric acute care setting, preferably at a large children's hospital. In addition, they must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and other team members. They must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to patients and families in an acute care pediatric setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in condition and providing appropriate care.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other team members.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of acute care pediatric nursing concepts.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently to ensure patient care needs are met.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Follow hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures.
