
Acute Care Technician

As an Acute Care Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our medical staff in providing excellent care to our patients in the acute care setting. - Provide compassionate care to patients and their families in the acute care setting.
- Assist medical staff with daily tasks and procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients by assisting with personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols to maintain a high level of patient care and safety.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in acute care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values, especially in regards to improving the health and well-being of children.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
Knowledge Of Pediatric Patient Care And Specialized Equipment Used In A Pediatric Setting
