Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Donor Relations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and cultivating relationships with our donors, as well as creating and implementing strategies to maximize donor engagement. You will be responsible for developing and executing donor-focused initiatives to create meaningful relationships with current and potential donors. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for philanthropy and a strong commitment to our mission of providing the highest level of care to children and their families.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, or Business)• At least 5 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a related field• Demonstrated success in building relationships and developing new donor opportunities• Demonstrated success in producing and managing special events• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment• Strong organizational and time management skills• Knowledge of donor databases and software• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIf you are a highly motivated professional with a passion for philanthropy and a commitment to building meaningful relationships with our donors, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.

• Develop and implement donor-focused initiatives to create meaningful relationships with donors.

• Develop strategies to maximize donor engagement.

• Produce and manage special events.

• Prepare and present reports to management as needed.

• Utilize donor databases and software to track donor information.

• Prepare and monitor budgets related to donor activities.

• Manage all donor communication through mail, email, and social media.

• Participate in meetings, conferences, and events related to philanthropy and donor relations.

• Identify and research new potential donors.

• Provide customer service to donors.

• Prepare and execute donor acknowledgement letters.

• Monitor donor trends and make recommendations for improvement.

• Maintain complete and accurate records and documentation of donor activities.
