
Behavioral Health Clinician
We at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) are looking for a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. We are seeking an individual who has experience working with children and families to provide evidence-based interventions. This individual should have a strong commitment to delivering quality care to children with behavioral health needs.The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited institution, and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Pennsylvania. Additionally, we are looking for someone with at least two years of experience providing clinical services to children and families in a mental health or behavioral health setting, as well as the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.The Behavioral Health Clinician will join our team of dedicated professionals who strive to provide the highest quality of care to the children and families we serve. We are looking for someone who can bring their unique skills, talents, and enthusiasm to our organization in order to help us reach our goals.
Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Clinician:
- Provide evidence-based interventions to children and families in a mental health or behavioral health setting.
- Utilize best practices to ensure quality care is delivered to children with behavioral health needs.
- Maintain a valid license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other clinicians and professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of each child and family.
- Provide ongoing assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Effectively communicate with families, other members of the clinical team, and other professionals.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity when working with children and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Remain current with the latest research, treatment methods, and techniques in the field of behavioral health.
