Job Description

Are you a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Technologist looking to apply your expertise to help support the mission of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Biomedical Technologist to join us and be part of this mission.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field, 3+ years of experience in a biomedical technology-related role, and be familiar with the latest developments in the field. In addition, we are looking for someone with strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Finally, the ideal candidate should have a commitment to excellence and have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support for biomedical engineering activities.
  2. Design, develop, and implement biomedical technology-related solutions.
  3. Monitor and maintain biomedical equipment and systems.
  4. Troubleshoot complex biomedical technology-related problems.
  5. Develop strategies to improve biomedical technology operations.
  6. Maintain accurate records of biomedical technology activities.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate biomedical technology activities.
  8. Work with vendors to ensure that biomedical equipment is up-to-date and functioning properly.
  9. Train staff on the use of biomedical technology.
  10. Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
