
Biostatistician - Data Science
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Biostatistician to join our Data Science team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and data analysis principles and will be able to apply them in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, and be capable of working in a team setting. The Biostatistician will be responsible for the design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation of clinical research studies. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data science and is up to date with the latest developments in biostatistics and data science. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a Master's or higher degree in biostatistics, data science, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in data analysis and clinical research in a healthcare setting. The candidate must also have a good understanding of statistical principles and methods, including the ability to develop and interpret statistical models. Furthermore, the candidate must have experience analyzing large datasets using advanced statistical methods and software, such as SAS, R, or Python. Experience in working with healthcare or research data systems, such as REDCap or Epic, is a plus.
