
Clinical Dietitian
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic and world-renowned health care team. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for developing and implementing diet plans for patients, educating patients and their families on nutrition, and providing ongoing counseling for nutrition-related health issues. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and hold a valid license in their state of residence. This position also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a caring and empathetic attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement diet plans for patients based on their individual needs and health conditions
- Educate patients and their families on nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Provide ongoing counseling for nutrition-related health issues
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations related to nutrition care
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and nutrition plans
- Research and implement new nutrition-related therapies and interventions as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects as needed
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics
