Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Clinical Research Financial Analyst to join the team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and business process support for clinical research operations. To succeed in this role, you must have a background in finance and accounting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a detailed understanding of clinical research operations. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial planning and analysis to support clinical research operations.
  2. Analyze current financial performance and provide guidance for future financial decisions.
  3. Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  4. Monitor and evaluate clinical research budgets and expenditures.
  5. Identify and address discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs.
  6. Collaborate with clinical research teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
  7. Develop process improvements to streamline financial operations.
  8. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  9. Provide training and guidance to clinical research staff on financial matters.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
