Job Description

We’re looking for someone with a passion for helping others to join our team as a Coordinator, Peer to Peer Events at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate should have experience in event planning and/or volunteer coordination, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to the mission of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience • 2-3 years of experience in event planning and/or volunteer coordination • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills • Strong commitment to the mission of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate peer-to-peer events at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for events • Manage event budget and track expenses • Develop and implement strategies to increase event attendance • Develop and maintain project timelines and monitor progress • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations • Provide frequent updates to the team and stakeholders on the status of the event • Identify opportunities for improvement in event planning processes • Perform other duties as assigned
