
Critical Care Paramedic

- Provide advanced critical care and emergency medical services to critically ill and injured pediatric patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform life-saving interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and support during stressful situations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in pediatric critical care to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to critical care paramedic duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities to enhance skills and maintain certifications.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism towards patients, families, and colleagues at all times.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Current Certification As A Paramedic In The State Of Pennsylvania.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Paramedic In A Critical Care Setting.
Advanced Training And Certification In Pediatric Life Support, Such As Pals Or Pepp.
Previous Experience Working In A Pediatric Emergency Department Or Critical Care Transport Unit.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In High-Stress Situations And With A Diverse Patient Population.
