- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local, state, and national codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and resolve potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Communicate with hospital staff and management to schedule and coordinate electrical work in patient care areas, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to ensure all systems are integrated and functioning properly.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of electrical supplies and equipment, making recommendations for purchase as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical technology and techniques to ensure hospital systems are functioning optimally and safely.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols, while working on site.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to hospital staff, patients, and their families.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hospital regulations for safety and cleanliness.
- Actively participate in safety training and drills, and report any potential hazards or safety concerns to management.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values, consistently upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Electrical Work, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Valid Electrician’s License And/Or Certification In The State Of Pennsylvania.
Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Regulations, Including Nfpa 70E And Osha Guidelines.
Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Drawings.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Setting.
