At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we’re looking for an Epic Ambulatory Systems Analyst to join our growing team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter who is eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients and families.To be successful in this role, the Epic Ambulatory Systems Analyst must have a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic applications, and ambulatory systems. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Epic application support to ambulatory systems, ensuring maximum availability and performance.
  2. Monitor ambulatory systems to identify and diagnose technical issues.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain Epic application solutions for ambulatory systems.
  4. Prepare detailed technical and system documentation for Epic applications.
  5. Research and recommend new Epic applications to improve ambulatory system performance.
  6. Work closely with IT staff, project managers, and clinical staff to ensure successful implementation of Epic applications.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to end users in the use of Epic applications.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current healthcare IT trends and technologies.
  10. Provide training and mentoring to other IT staff members on Epic applications.
