Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Facilities Office Assistant to join our team. This position will provide critical administrative support to the Facilities Department, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly. If you are passionate about providing an excellent customer service experience and have a knack for problem solving, then this position is a great fit for you.The successful candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; the ability to prioritize tasks; the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure; a high degree of professionalism; and a friendly and approachable demeanor. Knowledge of administrative office procedures, as well as basic computer skills, is also required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Facilities Department, including responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and organizing departmental paperwork.
  2. Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly by maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  3. Provide excellent customer service experiences to visitors and staff.
  4. Assist in solving problems and troubleshooting issues.
  5. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  6. Remain calm and professional under pressure.
  7. Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  8. Utilize basic computer skills to complete tasks.
  9. Adhere to established administrative office procedures.
