Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is looking to hire an experienced and highly-skilled Fetal Ultrasonographer to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for a candidate who excels in performing detailed fetal examinations and has a passion for providing excellent care to expecting mothers and their families. The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care for our patients. This position requires the candidate to have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Fetal Ultrasonographer in a hospital setting, along with a current registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certification in obstetrics/gynecology from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). The ideal candidate must also be knowledgeable of current regulations and standards for fetal ultrasounds and be well versed in the latest advances in fetal ultrasound technology. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities of the Fetal Ultrasonographer:

  1. Perform detailed fetal examinations for expecting mothers and their families.
  2. Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care for our patients.
  3. Maintain current registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certification in obstetrics/gynecology from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  4. Stay up-to-date on current regulations and standards for fetal ultrasounds.
  5. Utilize the latest advances in fetal ultrasound technology.
  6. Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
