The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is looking for a personable, organized, and experienced Global Patient Services Access Coordinator to provide excellent customer service to our international patients and families. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the global patient services team and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department.To be successful in this role, the Global Patient Services Access Coordinator must have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient access or customer service role. They must also have experience with international patient care and have a working knowledge of the international healthcare system. Additionally, the ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. Responsibilities of the Global Patient Services Access Coordinator:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to international patients and families.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Global Patient Services department.
  3. Ensure the smooth functioning of the international healthcare system.
  4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with international patients and families.
  5. Monitor patient satisfaction and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  6. Analyze and address any customer service issues in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations and policies.
  8. Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
  9. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer service issues.
  10. Prepare and submit reports to management.
