We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our hospital's low voltage systems, ensuring that they are functioning properly at all times.   1. Perform routine maintenance on low voltage systems throughout the hospital, including fire alarms, security systems, and nurse call systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with low voltage systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Coordinate with other departments and vendors to schedule and complete necessary repairs and upgrades.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on low voltage systems.
  5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all low voltage systems are functioning properly and up to code.
  6. Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt resolution to any low voltage system issues.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in low voltage technology to make recommendations for system improvements.
  8. Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure that low voltage systems are integrated and working seamlessly with other hospital systems.
  9. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed while working on low voltage systems.
  10. Train and mentor new technicians on proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques for low voltage systems.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all hospital safety regulations.
  12. Communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients regarding any maintenance or repair work being done on low voltage systems.
  13. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively to meet deadlines and ensure uninterrupted operation of low voltage systems.
  14. Act as a resource for staff and patients regarding any questions or concerns related to low voltage systems and their maintenance.
  15. Uphold the hospital's mission and values by providing excellent service and care to our young patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Low Voltage Systems, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of National Electric Code (Nec) And Other Relevant Codes And Regulations.

  • Familiarity With Troubleshooting And Repairing Low Voltage Systems, Including Fire Alarms, Security Systems, And Nurse Call Systems.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Blueprints.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Hospital Staff And Patients.
