- Safely transport young patients to and from medical appointments and procedures.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during transportation.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing a reassuring and empathetic environment.
- Monitor patient's condition during transportation and report any concerns to medical staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation services provided.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other team members to ensure efficient and timely transportation.
- Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle, as needed.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or hospital administration.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Passenger Endorsement: This Is A Basic Requirement For Any Medical Transportation Driver Role, As It Ensures That The Driver Is Trained And Capable Of Safely Operating A Large Vehicle With Passengers.

Experience Working With Children: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Serves A Pediatric Population, So Having Previous Experience Working With Children Is Highly Preferred For A Medical Transportation Driver Position. This Includes Having A Patient And Compassionate Demeanor, As Well As The Ability To Handle Challenging Behaviors.
