Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team.   1. Perform neurodiagnostic procedures: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist will be responsible for conducting a variety of neurodiagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies on pediatric patients.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures: The Technologist will ensure that patients are comfortable and properly positioned for the procedure, and will explain the process to them and answer any questions they may have.
  3. Operate specialized equipment: The Technologist will be trained to use advanced technology and equipment to obtain accurate readings and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.
  4. Monitor patients during procedures: The Technologist will closely monitor patients throughout the procedure, ensuring their safety and comfort and reporting any abnormalities or concerns to the physician.
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies: The Technologist will be responsible for the proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and ensuring that necessary supplies are stocked for procedures.
  6. Accurately document procedures: The Technologist will maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed, including patient information, test results, and any observations made during the procedure.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Technologist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for pediatric patients.
  8. Follow safety and infection control protocols: The Technologist will adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments: The Technologist will stay informed about advancements in the field of neurodiagnostics and attend relevant conferences and training sessions to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain confidentiality: The Technologist will handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Neurodiagnostic Technologist (Cnt) Or Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.eeg.t) With A Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neurophysiology, Neuroscience, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Proficiency In Performing And Interpreting Eeg, Evoked Potential, And Polysomnography Procedures On Pediatric Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Neurologic Conditions And Ability To Recognize And Respond To Emergent Situations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Family-Centered Care.
