
Nurse Practitioner - Division of Urology
The Nurse Practitioner - Division of Urology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is a rewarding and challenging position for an experienced and compassionate healthcare professional. The successful candidate must have the ability to provide exceptional care to our young patients and their families while maintaining the highest standard of medical practice. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children and their families, and is committed to delivering quality patient-centered care.The successful candidate must possess a Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, as well as an active and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, the ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical experience in a pediatric setting. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of evidence-based practice, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The nurse practitioner will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide direct care to patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Additionally, the nurse practitioner will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing complex cases, and providing education to patients and families.
Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients and their families while maintaining the highest standard of medical practice • Possess a Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university as well as an active and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania • Have at least two years of clinical experience in a pediatric setting • Have knowledge of evidence-based practice, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide direct care to patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings • Complete comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage complex cases • Provide education to patients and families
