  • Master's Degree In Nursing With Specialization In Ophthalmology: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Ophthalmology. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide High-Quality, Specialized Care To Pediatric Patients With Ophthalmic Conditions.

  • Active State License And Certification As A Nurse Practitioner: A Valid State License And Certification As A Nurse Practitioner Is A Mandatory Requirement For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Education, Training, And Competency Requirements To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The Field Of Ophthalmology.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Ophthalmology: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Is Looking For A Candidate With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Care To Pediatric Patients With Ophthalmic Conditions. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With Common Pediatric Ophthalmic Conditions, Treatment Options, And Best Practices In This Specialized Field.

  • Strong Clinical And Diagnostic Skills: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess Strong Clinical And Diagnostic Skills. This Includes The Ability To Perform Comprehensive Eye Exams, Diagnose And Treat Ophthalmic Conditions, And Interpret Diagnostic Tests Such As Visual Acuity, Intraocular Pressure, And Fundoscopy.
