Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the Pulmonary Sleep team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This role offers the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a highly-skilled multidisciplinary team of professionals. The ideal candidate will take a holistic approach to patient care, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's Degree in Nursing and be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania. You must also possess a minimum of two years of experience in a pulmonary sleep specialty setting, and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. You must be knowledgeable about the latest trends in the field, and have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Above all, you must have a genuine commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive patient care in a pulmonary sleep specialty setting.
  2. Utilize a holistic approach to patient care.
  3. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Deliver exceptional patient experiences.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in the field.
  8. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret tests, and develop treatment plans.
  9. Provide patient education and counseling.
  10. Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
