Job Description

At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Physical Therapist will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to help patients reach their maximum potential. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, creative, and patient-focused professional who is excited to work with children of all ages. In addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, and be a board-certified Physical Therapist. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate interventions. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages.
  2. Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques and interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  3. Evaluate progress of patients and modify treatment plans as needed.
  4. Educate and counsel patients and families on treatments plans and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  6. Monitor and assess patient safety to ensure optimal care.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  8. Participate in education and research activities to help advance the practice of physical therapy.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Adhere to professional standards and relevant laws and regulations.
