We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychometrist to join our Neuropsychology team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to administer and score neuropsychological tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological conditions in children.   1. Administer and score neuropsychological tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions in children.
  2. Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  3. Collaborate with neuropsychologists and other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  4. Maintain detailed and organized records of test results and patient information.
  5. Provide support and guidance to children and their families throughout the testing process.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric neuropsychology.
  7. Ensure that testing procedures and protocols are followed in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
  8. Communicate test results and recommendations to healthcare providers and families in a clear and sensitive manner.
  9. Provide ongoing support and assistance to children and families as needed.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve testing procedures and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the Neuropsychology team to develop and implement research projects.
  13. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Psychology Is Essential For A Psychometrist In Order To Understand The Principles And Theories Behind Neuropsychological Assessment.

  • Experience In Administering And Scoring Neuropsychological Tests: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Requires Candidates To Have Experience In Administering And Scoring A Wide Range Of Neuropsychological Tests, Including Iq Tests, Memory Tests, And Executive Functioning Tests.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Neuropsychology: Familiarity With The Unique Developmental And Cognitive Challenges Of Children And Adolescents Is Crucial For A Psychometrist At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia. This Includes Understanding The Impact Of Conditions Such As Adhd, Learning Disabilities, And Autism On Neuropsychological Functioning.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills: As A Psychometrist, You Will Be Responsible For Scheduling And Coordinating Assessments, As Well As Communicating Results To Patients, Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Values Candidates Who Can Work Independently And Take Initiative, While Also Being Able To Collaborate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals, Such As Neuropsychologists And Physicians.
