Are you an experienced Radiology Technologist looking to join a team of dedicated professionals at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia? We are seeking a qualified and compassionate individual to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our pediatric patients. The successful candidate will have an exceptional bedside manner and be able to interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner.The Radiology Technologist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing radiographic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the radiology field, be certified or eligible for certification in Radiography, and possess current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The Radiology Technologist should be able to work independently and possess excellent communication skills. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively with young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform radiographic procedures and document results accurately.
  2. Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, demonstrating excellent bedside manner.
  4. Ensure patient safety and comfort when performing radiographic procedures.
  5. Maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  6. Stay up-to-date with changes in the radiology field, including new equipment and procedures.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Participate in continuing education or training opportunities.
  9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
