It is also preferred that the candidate have CPR/BLS certification, ACLS certification, and PALS certification. Experience in pediatric care is highly desired. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical and communication skills, be a compassionate and patient advocate, and be motivated to work in a team-oriented environment. This individual should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:
- Treat pediatric respiratory diseases and disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress, and document changes in medical records.
- Educate patients and families about prevention and management of respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure that they are in good working order.
- Administer medications and perform tests to assess patient's condition.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and clinical protocols.
- Educate staff and students on respiratory care topics.
- Participate in research activities to help advance the practice of respiratory therapy.
- Adhere to safety procedures and professional standards.
