
Safety Center Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic Safety Center Assistant to join the team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a member of the Safety Center team, the Safety Center Assistant will play an important role in providing a safe and secure environment for our patients, families, and staff. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong communications and customer service skills, be a team player, and have an understanding of safety protocols. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual who is capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a customer service, security, or safety-related role. Candidates must also have valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and the ability to complete a background check. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, families, and staff while providing a safe and secure environment.
- Answer questions and provide information about safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitor the premises for any safety or security issues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist in the enforcement of safety regulations.
- Report any safety concerns to the Safety Center Manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety initiatives.
- Complete paperwork and reports as required.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and pass a background check.
