We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Security Training and Education Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors by developing and implementing comprehensive training and education programs. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in security and education.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive security training and education programs for all staff members, including security officers, nurses, and doctors.
  2. Create and maintain training materials, presentations, and manuals to effectively train staff on safety and security protocols.
  3. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest security measures and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with department heads and supervisors to identify specific training needs and develop customized training programs as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with all security regulations and policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external security organizations and agencies to stay informed on best practices and industry standards.
  7. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  8. Prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences, including staff, patients, and families, on security measures and procedures.
  9. Monitor and track training completion and maintain accurate records of all training activities.
  10. Serve as a resource for staff members, providing guidance and support on security-related matters.
  11. Continuously assess and update training programs to ensure they align with the latest security practices and protocols.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to security training and education.
  13. Stay current on industry trends and developments in security training and education to enhance the program and keep it relevant.
  14. Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning, drills, and exercises.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, safety, and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Security Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Security Training And Education, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Emergency Response And Incident Management.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Staff At All Levels.

  • Familiarity With Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Osha, And The Ability To Ensure Compliance Within The Organization.
