  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities of pediatric patients.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various speech and language disorders.
  3. Implement evidence-based interventions to improve speech and language skills in pediatric patients.
  4. Monitor and track progress of patients throughout their treatment.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  6. Educate and provide resources to families and caregivers to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  9. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  10. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment plans.
  11. Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  12. Continuously strive to improve and enhance services provided to patients.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Attend relevant trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.

  • Current State License In Speech-Language Pathology And Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • Prior Experience Working With Pediatric Populations In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In Speech And Language Therapy For Various Disorders And Conditions.

  • Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
