- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities of pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various speech and language disorders.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve speech and language skills in pediatric patients.
- Monitor and track progress of patients throughout their treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Educate and provide resources to families and caregivers to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment plans.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance services provided to patients.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Attend relevant trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.
Current State License In Speech-Language Pathology And Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
Prior Experience Working With Pediatric Populations In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In Speech And Language Therapy For Various Disorders And Conditions.
Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
