
Sports Physical Therapist
At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Sports Physical Therapist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing physical therapy services and treatments to patients with various orthopedic and sports-related injuries and conditions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced physical therapist who is passionate about helping athletes of all levels recover from injuries and improve their performance. Our ideal candidate should have experience in sports physical therapy, experience in pediatric and adolescent care, and a strong background in biomechanics. In addition, the successful candidate should have the ability to work with high school and college-level student-athletes, as well as have an understanding of the medical and sports safety protocols related to sports physical therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services and treatments to patients with various orthopedic and sports-related injuries and conditions.
- Maintain excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Work effectively as a member of a team.
- Have experience in sports physical therapy, pediatric and adolescent care, and a strong background in biomechanics.
- Work with high school and college-level student-athletes.
- Have an understanding of the medical and sports safety protocols related to sports physical therapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their needs and goals.
- Monitor the progress of patients and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
- Educate patients and/or families on the proper use of therapeutic exercises and treatments.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate patient records.
