Sr. Nursing Aide

We are looking for a Sr. Nursing Aide to join the team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid foundation of medical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient-centric care.The Sr. Nursing Aide will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families, as well as providing necessary care and assistance with daily activities for patients. This position requires a current CNA certification and a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting. In addition, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic attitude, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities: •Administer patient care according to established standards and procedures •Provide assistance with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and eating •Assist in all aspects of patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient information •Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families •Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals •Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans •Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are adhered to •Participate in continuing education courses to maintain knowledge and skills •Perform other duties as assigned
