Job Description

Research insurance laws and regulations and provide findings and guidance to support case exceptions, issues brought to SHS Risk Committee, state filing activities and other business issues as needed. Responsible for coordinating responses from the SHS organization as it relates to market conduct exams and audits, department of insurance inquiries, compliance inquiries, and internal audits (e.g. enterprise program evaluation). Maintain and grow library of topic specific research to support company strategies, consulting with and providing feedback and direction to internal partners as the subject matter expert, engaging with Legal/Enterprise Compliance as necessary to ensure proper governance. Prepare, submit and maintain documentation to manage the administration of the SHS trust agreement. Backup state filing team as needed in preparing filings and objection handling.

Job Qualifications
  • Five or more years of health insurance compliance or regulatory experience
