  1. Develop and maintain cutting-edge cloud solutions for Cigna's global organization.
  2. Lead a team of cloud engineers to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  3. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously improve and innovate Cigna's cloud solutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of Cigna's cloud infrastructure.
  6. Strategize and execute plans to optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  8. Train and mentor team members on cloud engineering best practices and new technologies.
  9. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  10. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the cloud infrastructure.
  12. Develop and maintain documentation for all cloud infrastructure and processes.
  13. Keep track of industry standards and ensure compliance in all cloud engineering practices.
  14. Participate in regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  15. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide cloud engineering strategies and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Cloud Computing Platforms: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, And Should Be Able To Effectively Design, Architect, And Manage Cloud-Based Solutions.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Devops Principles And Tools: As A Cloud Engineering Principal, The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices, And Should Be Proficient In Using Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, And Chef For Configuration, Automation, And Orchestration.

  • Expertise In Cloud Security And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cloud Security Best Practices And Compliance Standards, And Should Be Able To Implement And Maintain Robust Security Measures To Protect Cigna's Data And Infrastructure.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Cloud Engineering Principal Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage Projects And Teams. They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Team Members And Ensure Timely Delivery Of Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Partners. They Should Be Able To Articulate Complex Technical Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner.
