Pharmacy Clinical Consulting

We’re looking for a talented pharmacy professional to join our team at Cigna as a Pharmacy Clinical Consulting. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical programs that improve patient outcomes, ensure cost-effectiveness, and promote Cigna’s clinical pharmacy services. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Master’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, as well as prior experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. You’ll also need to possess strong problem-solving skills, a high level of analytical ability, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilites:

1. Develop and maintain clinical programs that improve patient outcomes, ensure cost-effectiveness, and promote Cigna’s clinical pharmacy services.
2. Evaluate patient medication regimens to ensure they are safe and appropriate.
3. Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication therapy management, optimization of drug therapy, and patient education.
4. Monitor patient progress and outcomes, and adjust medications as needed.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is optimized.
6. Provide drug information to healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
7. Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare providers.
9. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient safety.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy.
