Job Description

The Provider Engagement Director at Cigna is a highly visible role responsible for developing and leading strategies to improve provider engagement and satisfaction across multiple markets. This position requires a unique blend of strategic and operational experience, as well as a strong understanding of Cigna’s provider needs and goals. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of qualifications and experience to ensure success in this role.We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and customer-focused leader with a passion for helping Cigna’s providers succeed. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence, developing high-performing relationships, and exhibiting sound business judgement while leading teams. This individual must have a deep knowledge of health care operations and an understanding of the provider industry. A Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or a related field is required. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider relations, and/or provider engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead strategies to improve provider engagement and satisfaction across multiple markets.
  2. Maintain a deep knowledge of health care operations and an understanding of the provider industry.
  3. Drive operational excellence, develop high-performing relationships, and exhibit sound business judgement while leading teams.
  4. Foster communication and collaboration between Cigna and providers.
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure provider satisfaction.
  6. Analyze provider data to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  7. Provide strategic guidance and support to Cigna’s provider network.
  8. Develop and execute provider engagement initiatives.
  9. Design and implement process improvement strategies.
  10. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of provider engagement initiatives.
