Collateral Monitoring Specialist

The Collateral Monitoring Team is responsible for ensuring all of CIT's assets are properly secured with a Title or UCC, and also maintaining proper insurance coverage for the duration of the term. Manage a caseload/queue of customers of moderate complexity who require a current insurance renewal Develop a thorough understanding of the diverse business lines that are supported by our team and the insurance specifications required for each Engage with Insurance agencies, Customers, Internal Departments and Insurance partners to obtain acceptable insurance certificates. Analyze insurance certificates to ensure adequate coverage amounts are met based on business program guidelines, and contact customers or insurance agents for correction if requirements are not met. Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in the implementation of those ideas. Prepare weekly and monthly reporting. Cross train to support other areas of our operations as needed.
