
FIre Fighter
The City of Burbank is seeking an experienced, passionate Fire Fighter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a dynamic team and make life safer and more enjoyable for our community. As a Fire Fighter, you will be responsible for responding to fire and medical emergencies, providing fire prevention and public education, and serving as a liaison between our department and the public.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a valid California Firefighter 1 Certification. You must also have a sound knowledge of firefighting and medical emergency procedures, the ability to work in a highly stressful environment, and the capacity to maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.This is an opportunity to be part of a team that is dedicated to protecting our community, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilites:
- Respond to fire and medical emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide fire prevention and public education services.
- Serve as a liaison between the department and the public.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and California Firefighter 1 Certification.
- Have a sound knowledge of firefighting and medical emergency procedures.
- Have the ability to work in a highly stressful environment.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Follow department policies and procedures.
- Assist in the training of new Fire Fighters.
- Participate in drills and practice sessions.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety guidelines.
